**Axel Hager** (born 14 March 1969)[1] is a [beach volleyball](/source/Beach_volleyball) player from [Germany](/source/Germany), who won the bronze medal in the men's beach team competition at the [2000 Summer Olympics](/source/2000_Summer_Olympics) in [Sydney](/source/Sydney), [Australia](/source/Australia), partnering [Jörg Ahmann](/source/J%C3%B6rg_Ahmann). He also represented his native country at the [1996 Summer Olympics](/source/1996_Summer_Olympics) in [Atlanta](/source/Atlanta).
