"**Awuke**" is a song by Nigerian singer and record producer [Davido](/source/Davido) and American singer [YG Marley](/source/YG_Marley). It was released on 31 October 2024 by [Columbia Records](/source/Columbia_Records).[1] The song was written by Davido and Moonlight AfriQA.[2] The song reached the top ten on the US *[Billboard](/source/Billboard_(magazine))* [Afrobeats Songs](/source/Billboard_U.S._Afrobeats_Songs) chart.

After being featured on two songs, "[Joy](/source/Davido_discography)" by [Angélique Kidjo](/source/Ang%C3%A9lique_Kidjo),[3] and "[Right Now](/source/Darkoo#Career)" by [Darkoo](/source/Darkoo) featuring Jamaican record producer [Rvssian](/source/Rvssian),[4] Davido teased his new song. He first shared the snippet of the song on 1 October 2024, while celebrating [Nigeria's Independence Day](/source/Independence_Day_(Nigeria)),[5] and again during [Lauryn Hill](/source/Lauryn_Hill)'s concert in [Paris, France](/source/Paris%2C_France).[6] On 22 October 2024, he announced on [X](/source/Twitter) and [Instagram](/source/Instagram) that the song would be released on 31 October 2024.[7]
