**Avdakt** (Russian: Авда́кт) is a Russian Christian male [first name](/source/Given_name).[1] It is possibly derived from the [Serbian](/source/Serbian_language) [Muslim](/source/Muslim) word *Abdaga* (*Abdul-aga*), meaning *master's slave*, *slave of an elder relative*.[1] Its colloquial form is **Avda** (А́вда).[1]

"Avdakt" is also a colloquial form of the male first name [Adavkt](/source/Adavkt).[1]
