== Geography ==

Auyo is located in the northeastern part of Jigawa State. It is bordered by [Hadejia](/source/Hadejia) to the north, [Kafin Hausa](/source/Kafin_Hausa) to the south, and [Kaugama](/source/Kaugama) to the west. The region experiences a semi-arid climate with a wet season lasting from May to October and a dry season from November to April.
