== Racing history ==
ASP first competed in motor racing through the [Eurocup Mégane Trophy](/source/Eurocup_M%C3%A9gane_Trophy), where founder [Jérôme Policand](/source/J%C3%A9r%C3%B4me_Policand) won the title in 1999.<ref>{{Cite web |last=ASP |first=AKKODIS |title=Team presentation, history and record |url=https://www.akkodis-asp-team.com/en/presentation.php |access-date=2025-07-14 |website=www.akkodis-asp-team.com |language=en}}</ref> ASP also raced in the [Porsche Carrera Cup France](/source/Porsche_Carrera_Cup_France) series in the 2000s, winning the Drivers' championships in 2005, 2006, and 2008 with [Anthony Beltoise](/source/Anthony_Beltoise), and in 2010 with [Frédéric Makowiecki](/source/Fr%C3%A9d%C3%A9ric_Makowiecki).

In 2011, ASP officially debuted in the [Blancpain Endurance Series](/source/Blancpain_Endurance_Series), competing with a two-car entry driving the [Ferrari 458 Italia GT3](/source/Ferrari_458). The team's Pro-Am entry, driven by [Ludovic Badey](/source/Ludovic_Badey), Jean-Luc Beaubélique, and Franck Morel finished 2nd in the Pro-Am class. That year, they also won the [2011 24 Hours of Spa](/source/2011_24_Hours_of_Spa) in the Pro-Am class. ASP finished 2nd in the Pro-Am again in the [2012 Blancpain Endurance Series](/source/2012_Blancpain_Endurance_Series), and proceeded to take another [Spa 24 Hours](/source/Spa_24_Hours) victory a year later in the [2013 24 Hours of Spa](/source/2013_24_Hours_of_Spa) through the Gentleman Trophy class. ASP team made their first appearance at the [24 Hours of Le Mans](/source/24_Hours_of_Le_Mans) in [2014](/source/2014_24_Hours_of_Le_Mans), entering a [Ferrari 458 Italia GT2](/source/Ferrari_458) with drivers [Soheil Ayari](/source/Soheil_Ayari), Anthony Pons, and professional footballer [Fabien Barthez](/source/Fabien_Barthez).<ref>{{Cite web |date=2013-11-09 |title=Endurance: Former soccer player Fabien Barthez could enter 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans {{!}} Car News {{!}} Auto123 |url=https://www.auto123.com/en/news/endurance-former-soccer-player-fabien-barthez-could-enter-2014-24-hours-of-le-mans/30401/ |access-date=2025-07-14 |website=auto123.com |language=en}}</ref> The team made it to the finish, finishing 29th overall and 9th in class.[[File:88MERCERDESAMGGT3AKKODIS.jpg|left|thumb|250x250px|Akkodis ASP's #88 [Mercedes-AMG GT3 Evo](/source/Mercedes-AMG_GT) at the [2023 24 Hours of Spa](/source/2023_24_Hours_of_Spa).]]ASP officially made the switch to [Mercedes-AMG](/source/Mercedes-AMG) machinery ahead of the [2016 Blancpain GT Series](/source/2016_Blancpain_GT_Series) after five seasons of competition with the [Ferrari 458](/source/Ferrari_458) platform.<ref>{{Cite web |date=2015-12-27 |title=Team AKKA-ASP switches to Mercedes-AMG GT3 for 2016 |url=https://www.gt-world-challenge-europe.com/news/609/team-akka-asp-switches-to-mercedes-amg-gt3-for-2016 |access-date=2025-07-14 |website=GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS |language=en-GB}}</ref> In the team's first full season with the [Mercedes-AMG GT3](/source/Mercedes-AMG_GT), they achieved 8th in the Pro class, 2nd in Pro-Am, and 4th in Am. ASP ventured into [GT4](/source/SRO_GT4) racing in 2020, entering a [Mercedes-AMG GT4](/source/Mercedes-AMG) in the [2020 GT4 European Series](/source/2020_GT4_European_Series) season finale at [Circuit Paul Ricard](/source/Circuit_Paul_Ricard). The team committed to a full-season pursuit the following year and eventually won the Pro-Am class title in the [2022 GT4 European Series](/source/2022_GT4_European_Series). The team moved to the [French GT4 Cup](/source/French_GT4_Cup) in 2023, entering a pair of [Toyota GR Supra GT4](/source/Toyota_GR_Supra_GT4) sports cars in with backing from French insurance company Matmut, racing as Matmut Évolution. Matmut, with ASP's help, launched the 'Volant Matmut 100% Féminin' programme, allowing female racing drivers the opportunity to compete in motor racing. One of the ASP entries would be designated for the selected female drivers. [Gabriela Jílková](/source/Gabriela_J%C3%ADlkov%C3%A1) and Lucile Cypriano joined [Enzo Joulié](/source/Enzo_Jouli%C3%A9) and Étienne Cheli for the full 2023 season. The team returned to the [GT4 European Series](/source/GT4_European_Series) in [2024](/source/2024_GT4_European_Series), retaining Joulié and Cheli, and recruiting Cindy Gudet to race with Jílková, who also returned to the team.<ref>{{Cite web |date=2024-03-12 |title=Matmut Évolution brings twin Toyotas for French champions and an all-female crew |url=https://www.gt4europeanseries.com/news/397/matmut-evolution-brings-twin-toyotas-for-french-champions-and-an-all-female-crew |access-date=2025-07-15 |website=GT4 European Series |language=en-GB}}</ref>[[File:2024 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps Akkodis ASP Team Lexus RC F GT3 No.78 (DSC02360).jpg|thumb|250x250px|Akkodis ASP's #78 [Lexus RC F GT3](/source/Lexus_RC_F_GT3) at the [2024 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps](/source/2024_6_Hours_of_Spa-Francorchamps).]]
