# Atul Sachdeva

**Atul Sachdeva** (born 22 August 1980 in [Preston, Lancashire](/source/Preston,_Lancashire)) is an English [cricketer](/source/Cricket). Sachdeva was a right-handed [batsman](/source/Batsman_(cricket)) and a [leg break](/source/Leg_break) bowler.

Sachdeva represented [Leicestershire](/source/Leicestershire_County_Cricket_Club) in a single [first-class](/source/First-class_cricket) match in 1999 against [Derbyshire](/source/Derbyshire_County_Cricket_Club).[1] Sachdeva was [unbeaten](/source/Not_out) on 0 when Leicestershire's first innings came to an end. In their second innings he was dismissed for a [duck](/source/Duck_(cricket)) by [Matthew Cassar](/source/Matthew_Cassar). In Derbyshire's second innings, he took the wicket of Cassar.[2] This was his only wicket in first-class cricket.
