***Atomyria*** is a genus of [leaf beetles](/source/Leaf_beetle) in the subfamily [Eumolpinae](/source/Eumolpinae). It is distributed in [Central Asia](/source/Central_Asia) and [Iran](/source/Iran).[2][3] In 2012, the genus was moved from the tribe [Bromiini](/source/Bromiini) to the tribe Nodinini (now known as [Typophorini](/source/Typophorini)).[4] In 2020, the genus was revised by A. G. Moseyko, who described a new species and transferred two species to *[Chloropterus](/source/Chloropterus)*, leaving only two valid species remaining within *Atomyria*.[3]

Members of the genus inhabit [tugai](/source/Tugai) forests.[4] The known distribution of *Atomyria* also corresponds very closely with the distribution of the desert shrub genus *[Tamarix](/source/Tamarix)*.[5]

## Species

*Atomyria* includes only two valid species:[3]

- *[Atomyria kermanshahica](/source/Atomyria_kermanshahica)* Moseyko, 2020 – [Iran](/source/Iran) ([Kermanshah Province](/source/Kermanshah_Province))
- *[Atomyria sarafschanica](/source/Atomyria_sarafschanica)* (Solsky, 1881) – [Kazakhstan](/source/Kazakhstan), [Kyrgyzstan](/source/Kyrgyzstan), [Tajikistan](/source/Tajikistan), [Turkmenistan](/source/Turkmenistan), [Uzbekistan](/source/Uzbekistan)

The following species were formerly included, but have since been transferred to the genus *[Chloropterus](/source/Chloropterus)*.[3]

- *Atomyria mateui* Selman, 1969[5] – [Algeria](/source/Algeria)
- *Atomyria persica* ([Baly](/source/Joseph_Sugar_Baly), 1878)[6] – [Iran](/source/Iran)
