He represented [BFG Fana](/source/FIK_BFG_Fana), [SK Vidar](/source/SK_Vidar), Bergen FIK, [IL Gular](/source/IL_Gular) and [IL Norna-Salhus](/source/IL_Norna-Salhus) during his active career.

He finished eighth at the [1994 European Championships](/source/1994_European_Championships_in_Athletics).
