**Ashestan** ([Persian](/source/Persian_language): اشستان, also [Romanized](/source/Romanize) as **Āshestān**; also known as **Āshīstān**)[1] is a village in [Gonbar Rural District](/source/Gonbar_Rural_District), in the [Central District](/source/Central_District_(Osku_County)) of [Osku County](/source/Osku_County), [East Azerbaijan Province](/source/East_Azerbaijan_Province), [Iran](/source/Iran). At the 2006 census, its population was 146, in 33 families.[2]
