A [Papua New Guinean representative](/source/Papua_New_Guinea_national_rugby_league_team) {{rlp|fe}}, Boas previously played for [Featherstone Rovers](/source/Featherstone_Rovers) in the [Championship](/source/Championship_(rugby_league)). He was a member of PNG's squads at the [2013](/source/2013_Rugby_League_World_Cup) and [2017 World Cup](/source/2017_Rugby_League_World_Cup) tournaments.

==Playing career==
Boas was the captain for the [PNG Hunters](/source/PNG_Hunters) in the 2017 Queensland Cup season where they won the title. He is the elder brother of fellow PNG representative [Watson Boas](/source/Watson_Boas).

Boas comes from a mixed parentage of [East New Britain](/source/East_New_Britain), [Oro](/source/Oro_Province) and [Simbu](/source/Chimbu_Province) in Papua New Guinea.

Boas represented [Papua New Guinea](/source/Papua_New_Guinea_national_rugby_league_team) in [rugby league nines](/source/rugby_league_nines) at the [2015 Pacific Games](/source/Rugby_league_nines_at_the_2015_Pacific_Games).
