# Arthur Conti

**Arthur Stanley Conti** (born 2004) is an English actor. A son of [Nina Conti](/source/Nina_Conti), he began his career with a small role in the *[House of the Dragon](/source/House_of_the_Dragon)* episode "[We Light the Way](/source/We_Light_the_Way)" in 2022. Conti gained recognition for his role as Jeremy Frazier in the 2024 fantasy film *[Beetlejuice Beetlejuice](/source/Beetlejuice_Beetlejuice)*.[1][2]

## Life and career

Born in [Camden](/source/London_Borough_of_Camden), [London](/source/London) in 2004,[3] Conti is the son of comedian and ventriloquist [Nina Conti](/source/Nina_Conti) and comedian Andrew Stanley,[4] and the grandson of actor [Tom Conti](/source/Tom_Conti) and actress [Kara Wilson](/source/Kara_Wilson). He has a younger brother, Drummond.[5] Conti is a member of the [National Youth Theatre](/source/National_Youth_Theatre), and has appeared in productions of *[Machinal](/source/Machinal)*, *[Crazy for You](/source/Crazy_for_You_(musical))* and *[Blithe Spirit](/source/Blithe_Spirit_(play))*. In 2023, he signed with talent agency [WME](/source/Endeavor_(company)).[2]

Conti made his onscreen debut as the Queen's Page in a 2022 episode of [HBO](/source/HBO)'s series *[House of the Dragon](/source/House_of_the_Dragon)*. He went on to play Jeremy Frazier, the brief love interest of Astrid, in the 2024 comedy horror film *[Beetlejuice Beetlejuice](/source/Beetlejuice_Beetlejuice)*.[1] He had auditioned for the role over a [Zoom](/source/Zoom_(software)) call with director [Tim Burton](/source/Tim_Burton). Conti was told that he had won the part on [April Fools' Day](/source/April_Fools'_Day), and thus initially thought it was a practical joke.[6]
