# Arthur Bluck

**Arthur William Bluck** [OBE](/source/Order_of_the_British_Empire) (6 March 1864 – June 1944) was a Bermudan judge and politician who served as a member of the [House of Assembly](/source/House_of_Assembly_of_Bermuda) and an Assistant Justice of the [Supreme Court of Bermuda](/source/Law_of_Bermuda).[1] He was [Speaker of the Colonial Parliament of Bermuda](/source/List_of_speakers_of_the_House_of_Assembly_of_Bermuda) between 1929 and 1933.[citation needed]

Bluck was [Mayor of Hamilton](/source/Mayor_of_Hamilton,_Bermuda) since 1913 and involved with the Trade Development Board (TDB).[2] He was president of the [Bank of Bermuda](/source/Bank_of_Bermuda).[2] He was also president of the Bermuda Fire and Marine Insurance Company.[2]
