# Areticulata

***Areticulata*** is a [monotypic](/source/Monotypic) [moth](/source/Moth) genus of the family [Nepticulidae](/source/Nepticulidae). Its only species, ***Areticulata leucosideae***, is found in [South Africa](/source/South_Africa). Both the genus and species were [first described](/source/Species_description) by Scoble in 1893.[1]

The larvae feed on *[Leucosidea sericea](/source/Leucosidea_sericea)*. They probably [mine](/source/Leaf_miner) the leaves of their host plant.
