***Arctotheca marginata*** is a plant belonging to the genus *[Arctotheca](/source/Arctotheca)*.[1] The species is endemic to the [Northern Cape](/source/Northern_Cape) and occurs on the [Bokkeveld Mountains](/source/Bokkeveld_Mountains) escarpment near [Nieuwoudtville](/source/Nieuwoudtville) where it is part of the [fynbos](/source/Fynbos) is. There are two subpopulations on one farm and they are threatened by [overgrazing](/source/Overgrazing) and the extraction of groundwater.[2]
