# Apollonieis

**Apollonieis** ([Ancient Greek](/source/Ancient_Greek_language): Ἀπολλωνιεῖς) was a [deme](/source/Deme) of [ancient Attica](/source/Ancient_Attica), of the *[phyle](/source/Phyle)* of [Attalis](/source/Attalis), sending five delegates to the [Athenian Boule](/source/Boule_(ancient_Greece)).[1] It was established in 200 BCE and named after [Apollonis of Cyzicus](/source/Apollonis_of_Cyzicus), wife of [Attalus I](/source/Attalus_I).[1]
