**Antoine Gilbert Baroan** (born 24 June 2000) is a French professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [forward](/source/Forward_(association_football)) or [Primeira Liga](/source/Primeira_Liga) club [AVS](/source/AVS_Futebol_SAD), on loan from [Liga I](/source/Liga_I) club [Rapid București](/source/FC_Rapid_Bucure%C8%99ti).

## Club career

Baroan joined the youth academy of [Chamois Niortais](/source/Chamois_Niortais_F.C.) in 2009. Baroan made his professional debut with Niort in a 1–0 [Ligue 2](/source/Ligue_2) win over [AS Nancy](/source/AS_Nancy) on 24 August 2018.[2]

On 25 June 2021, Baroan moved aboard and joined the [Bulgarian Parva Liga](/source/First_Professional_Football_League_(Bulgaria)) team [Botev Plovdiv](/source/PFC_Botev_Plovdiv).[3]

On 2 February 2024, Baroan signed a three-and-a-half-year contract with [Winterthur](/source/FC_Winterthur) in Switzerland.[4]

On 25 February 2025, he returned to Bulgaria, joining [Ludogorets](/source/PFC_Ludogorets_Razgrad) for an undisclosed fee, after just one year at Winterthur.[5]

On 8 July 2025, Baroan signed a two-season contract with Romanian SuperLiga club [Rapid București](/source/FC_Rapid_Bucure%C8%99ti).[6]

## International career

Baroan was born in France, the son of Ivorian former footballer Celestine Baroan.[7] Baroan made one appearance for the [France U17s](/source/France_national_football_team) in a 1–0 friendly win over the [Czech Republic U17s](/source/Czech_Republic_national_under-17_football_team) on 23 September 2016.[8]
