It is found in [Senegal](/source/Senegal), [Guinea-Bissau](/source/Guinea-Bissau), [Guinea](/source/Guinea), [Sierra Leone](/source/Sierra_Leone), [Burkina Faso](/source/Burkina_Faso), [Liberia](/source/Liberia), [Ivory Coast](/source/Ivory_Coast), [Ghana](/source/Ghana), [Togo](/source/Togo), [Benin](/source/Benin), [Nigeria](/source/Nigeria), [Cameroon](/source/Cameroon), [Gabon](/source/Gabon), the [Republic of the Congo](/source/Republic_of_the_Congo), the [Central African Republic](/source/Central_African_Republic), the [Democratic Republic of the Congo](/source/Democratic_Republic_of_the_Congo), [Uganda](/source/Uganda) and [Tanzania](/source/Tanzania).[2] The habitat consists of forests and dense [Guinea savanna](/source/Guinean_forest-savanna_mosaic).
