# Anterastes

***Anterastes*** is a genus of [Palaearctic](/source/Palaearctic_realm) [bush crickets](/source/Tettigoniidae) in the tribe [Platycleidini](/source/Platycleidini), erected by [Carl Brunner von Wattenwyl](/source/Carl_Brunner_von_Wattenwyl) in 1882.[1] Species can be found in South-eastern Europe, with most records from the Balkans, Greece and Turkey.[2]
