**Anna Júlia Csiki** (Hungarian: [\[ˈɒnːɒ ˈjuːlijɒ ˈt͡ʃiki\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:IPA/Hungarian);[2] born 14 November 1999) is a Hungarian professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [midfielder](/source/Midfielder) for [Serie A](/source/Serie_A_Femminile) club [Roma](/source/AS_Roma_(women)), on loan from [Women's Super League](/source/Women's_Super_League) club [Tottenham Hotspur](/source/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C._Women), and the [Hungary national team](/source/Hungary_women's_national_football_team).

## Early life

Csiki was born and raised in [Martonvásár](/source/Martonv%C3%A1s%C3%A1r) in central [Hungary](/source/Hungary).[3] She started playing football at the age of six, playing with Mustang SE, a club formed by parents of the players and coached by former Hungarian professional player [Patkós Csaba](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Patk%C3%B3s_Csaba&action=edit&redlink=1) [[hu](https://hu.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patk%C3%B3s_Csaba)]. While at Mustang she played youth football with and against boys in [Fejér County](/source/Fej%C3%A9r_County), including future [Hungarian men's national team](/source/Hungary_national_football_team) captain [Dominik Szoboszlai](/source/Dominik_Szoboszlai).[4][5][6] A multi-sport athlete as a child, Csiki was talented at tennis and played handball competitively, but ultimately decided to play football. She joined the academy of [Ferencváros](/source/Ferencv%C3%A1rosi_TC_(women's_football)) in 2012, playing in a girls academy full time.[7]

## Club career

### Ferencváros (2015–2019)

Csiki started her professional career in [Hungary](/source/Hungary) with [Ferencváros](/source/Ferencv%C3%A1rosi_TC_(women's_football)), also known as Fradi. She played first for FNLA Kóka which at the time acted as a second team for Fradi, playing in the Hungarian professional leagues with a roster of players under 17 years old.[8][9]

Csiki debuted for the first team in February 2017 at the age of 16.[10] She scored a brace in Fradi's 4–3 2019 [Hungarian Cup](/source/Hungarian_Women's_Cup) victory over [Diósgyőr](/source/Di%C3%B3sgy%C5%91ri_VTK), the team winning their fifth in a row. In total Csiki won three Hungarian Cups and two league titles in her time with the club. After spending a few years as part of the senior squad for the [Budapest](/source/Budapest) club, she moved on in June 2020 to [Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC](/source/BK_H%C3%A4cken_FF) in [Sweden](/source/Sweden).[11][12]

### BK Häcken (2020–2024)

Her first season in Sweden saw her as part of the squad that won the club's first ever [Damallsvenskan](/source/Damallsvenskan) title in 2020. The club would win the Swedish Cup the following season.[7] She remained with the team, which rebranded to BK Häcken FF in 2021, until 2024 when she signed a four-year contract with [Tottenham Hotspur](/source/Tottenham_Hotspur_F.C._Women) in [England](/source/England).[7]

### Tottenham Hotspur (2024–)

Csiki reunited with her former BK Hacken coach [Robert Vilahamn](/source/Robert_Vilahamn) upon joining Spurs.[13] She became the first Hungarian to ever play in the WSL when she made her debut for Spurs against Crystal Palace in September 2024.[14]

She suffered a [torn ACL](/source/Torn_ACL) in December 2022, which lasted until January 2024.[15] She was awarded the inaugural women's Hungarian Ballon d'Or in January 2025 based on her play in 2024 for club and country.[16][17]

On 4 September 2025, Csiki joined [WSL](/source/Women's_Super_League) club [West Ham United](/source/West_Ham_United_F.C._Women) on a season long loan deal.[18] On 22 January 2026, she returned to Spurs from her loan spell at West Ham.[19] On 2 February 2026, Csiki joined Roma on loan until the end of the season, becoming the first Hungarian to play with the team.[20][21]

## International career

Csiki featured for the Under-16, Under-17, and Under-19 Hungarian national team sides.[22][23]

She has been capped for the senior [Hungary national team](/source/Hungary_women's_national_football_team), making her debut on 14 September 2017 in a match against [Scotland](/source/Scotland_women's_national_football_team).[22] She appeared for the senior national team during the [UEFA Women's Euro 2021 qualifying](/source/UEFA_Women's_Euro_2021_qualifying) cycle.[24]

## Personal life

Csiki's family are [Székelys](/source/Sz%C3%A9kelys) and trace their lineage to [Transylvania](/source/Transylvania).[25] Growing up, her favorite club was [FC Bayern Munich](/source/FC_Bayern_Munich).[26] Csiki has remained a fan of [Ferencváros](/source/Ferencv%C3%A1rosi_TC_(sports_club)) since departing the club's women's football team, watching the club's various sports teams such as [men's football](/source/Ferencv%C3%A1rosi_TC), [ice hockey](/source/Ferencv%C3%A1rosi_TC_(ice_hockey)), and [women's handball](/source/Ferencv%C3%A1rosi_TC_(women's_handball)), among others.[27]
