**Ann Ledwith** is an Irish engineer and academic administrator currently as interim provost and deputy president of the [University of Limerick](/source/University_of_Limerick) since 2024. ## Early life and education

Ledwith was born in [Limerick](/source/Limerick), Ireland. She earned a degree in [electronic engineering](/source/Electronic_engineering) from the [National Institute for Higher Education, Limerick](/source/National_Institute_for_Higher_Education,_Limerick) in 1983.[1] She later completed an M.B.A. at the [Kemmy Business School](/source/Kemmy_Business_School) and a Ph.D. in [technology management](/source/Technology_management) at the [University of Brighton](/source/University_of_Brighton) in 2004.[2][3]

## Career
