# Angylocalyx

***Angylocalyx*** is a genus of [flowering plants](/source/Flowering_plant) in the family [Fabaceae](/source/Fabaceae). It includes seven species native to [sub-Saharan Africa](/source/Sub-Saharan_Africa), ranging from [Guinea](/source/Guinea) to [Angola](/source/Angola), [Tanzania](/source/Tanzania), and [Kenya](/source/Kenya).[1]

- *[Angylocalyx braunii](/source/Angylocalyx_braunii)* Harms

- *[Angylocalyx oligophyllus](/source/Angylocalyx_oligophyllus)* (Baker) Baker f.
- *[Angylocalyx pynaertii](/source/Angylocalyx_pynaertii)* De Wild.

- *[Angylocalyx schumannianus](/source/Angylocalyx_schumannianus)* Taub.
- *[Angylocalyx talbotii](/source/Angylocalyx_talbotii)* Hutch. & Dalziel
- *[Angylocalyx vermeulenii](/source/Angylocalyx_vermeulenii)* De Wild.

Members of this genus accumulate hydroxy[pipecolic acids](/source/Pipecolic_acid) and [iminosugars](/source/Iminosugar) in their leaves.[4]
