# Angele (deme)

**Angele** ([Ancient Greek](/source/Ancient_Greek_language): Ἀγγελή) was a [deme](/source/Deme) of [ancient Attica](/source/Ancient_Attica), of the *[phyle](/source/Phyle)* of [Pandionis](/source/Pandionis), sending two, three, or four delegates to the [Athenian Boule](/source/Boule_(ancient_Greece)).[1] Its site is located near modern [Angelisi](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Angelisi&action=edit&redlink=1).[2][3]
