# Ange Chibozo

**Ange Josué Chibozo** (born 1 July 2003) is a Beninese professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as a [forward](/source/Forward_(association_football)) or [winger](/source/Winger_(association_football)) for Spanish [Primera Federación](/source/Primera_Federaci%C3%B3n) club [Unionistas](/source/Unionistas_de_Salamanca_CF) on loan from French club [Amiens](/source/Amiens_SC), and the [Beninese national team](/source/Benin_national_football_team).

## Club career

### Early career

Born in Benin, Chibozo moved to Italy in 2014.[1] He started playing football aged 11 at [Inter Milan](/source/Inter_Milan)'s [youth sector](/source/Inter_Milan) in 2014,[2][3][4] before joining [Giana Erminio](/source/A.S._Giana_Erminio) in January 2017.[4]

### Juventus

Chibozo signed for [Juventus](/source/Juventus_F.C._Youth_Sector) in summer 2017.[5] On 9 October 2021, Chibozo made his unofficial debut for the [first team](/source/Juventus_F.C.) in a 2–1 [friendly](/source/Exhibition_game) win against [Alessandria](/source/U.S._Alessandria_Calcio_1912), coming on as substitute in the 63rd minute and scoring the winning goal 30 minutes later.[1] With eight appearances, Chibozo helped the U19s reach the [2021–22 UEFA Youth League](/source/2021%E2%80%9322_UEFA_Youth_League) semifinals, their best-ever placing in the competition. He scored against [Malmö FF](/source/Malm%C3%B6_FF) and against [Zenit](/source/FC_Zenit_Saint_Petersburg) in the group stage and he scored against [Liverpool](/source/Liverpool_F.C._Reserves_and_Academy) in the quarter-finals and against [Benfica](/source/S.L._Benfica_Juniors) in the semi-finals.[6][7] Chibozo ended the season with 21 goals scored in all competitions.[8]

### Amiens

On 1 July 2022, Chibozo left Juventus and joined [Ligue 2](/source/Ligue_2) side [Amiens](/source/Amiens_SC) on a season-long loan with an obligation-to-buy[9][10] reported to be around €1 million.[11]

He subsequently made his professional debut on 30 July, coming in as a substitute for [Mamadou Fofana](/source/Mamadou_Fofana_(footballer,_born_2000)) at the 76th minute of a 3-0 league loss against [Metz](/source/FC_Metz).[12]

On 31 January 2023, Spanish club [Real Murcia](/source/Real_Murcia) announced the signing of Chibozo on loan until the end of the season.[13] However, four days later, Chibozo's agent announced that the transfer had not happened, and that the player would remain at Amiens.[14]

#### Paços de Ferreira (loan)

On 28 August 2023, Amiens sent Chibozo on loan to [recently relegated](/source/2022%E2%80%9323_F.C._Pa%C3%A7os_de_Ferreira_season) to [Liga Portugal 2](/source/Liga_Portugal_2) club [Paços de Ferreira](/source/F.C._Pa%C3%A7os_de_Ferreira).[15][16]

#### Unionistas (loan)

On 21 January 2026, Chibozo moved on loan to [Unionistas](/source/Unionistas_de_Salamanca_CF) in the Spanish third-tier [Primera Federación](/source/Primera_Federaci%C3%B3n).[17]

## International career

On 14 March 2022, Chibozo received his first senior call-up from the [Beninese national team](/source/Benin_national_football_team).[18] He then made his international debut on 27 March, featuring in a 2–1 win against [Zambia](/source/Zambia_national_football_team).[19]
