'''Andy Whitmore''' is a British keyboard player and record producer. He works from his own studio, Greystoke Studio, in [Ealing](/source/Ealing), West London. Whitmore has produced 14 UK top-ten hits including "[Flava](/source/Flava_(song))" by [Peter Andre](/source/Peter_Andre) and "[I've Got a Little Something for You](/source/I've_Got_a_Little_Something_for_You)" by [MN8](/source/MN8). == Early career ==
Whitmore started his career as a [session musician](/source/session_musician), playing keyboards with soul band Caleche, touring the UK, Germany and Norway before applying for the job as keyboard player for [Spandau Ballet](/source/Spandau_Ballet). He later toured and played on ''[Introducing the Hardline According to Terence Trent D'Arby](/source/Introducing_the_Hardline_According_to_Terence_Trent_D'Arby)'' -  before working on sessions for artists including [Elton John](/source/Elton_John), [Fine Young Cannibals](/source/Fine_Young_Cannibals), [Soul II Soul](/source/Soul_II_Soul), [Pet Shop Boys](/source/Pet_Shop_Boys), [Cathy Dennis](/source/Cathy_Dennis), [Eternal](/source/Eternal_(group)) and many more. He also has an extensive catalogue of music placed in TV and advertising syncs.{{Citation needed|date=October 2022}}

==Greystoke Studio==
Greystoke Studio (opened 1991) is the resident studio of Whitmore. {{As of|2013}} it had 192&nbsp;kHz [digital](/source/Digital_data) [recording](/source/Sound_recording_and_reproduction), a large selection of vintage and [boutique](/source/boutique) outboard studio equipment, and the largest working [vintage](/source/Vintage_musical_equipment) [keyboard](/source/Keyboard_instrument) and [synthesiser](/source/synthesiser) collection in the UK. The studio has a [Minimoog](/source/Minimoog) to produce lead and bass sounds, and an [EMS Synthi VCS3](/source/EMS_VCS_3) analogue synthesiser as used by [Pink Floyd](/source/Pink_Floyd).
