Jacobs was born in October 1963 in [Bremen](/source/Bremen), West Germany to [Klaus J. From 1991, Jacobs worked three years as a consultant and project manager at [The Boston Consulting Group](/source/Boston_Consulting_Group) in [Munich](/source/Munich). Since 2000, Jacobs has been responsible for the family business in Switzerland.
