**Anderson Bay** is a [bay](/source/Bay) of [Atlin Lake](/source/Atlin_Lake) in northwestern [British Columbia](/source/British_Columbia), [Canada](/source/Canada), located southwest of [Pike Bay](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Pike_Bay_(British_Columbia)&action=edit&redlink=1).[1]

The landscape surrounding Anderson Bay lies in the [Atlin Volcanic Field](/source/Atlin_Volcanic_Field) of the [Northern Cordilleran Volcanic Province](/source/Northern_Cordilleran_Volcanic_Province). During the [Miocene](/source/Miocene) period, a [basaltic](/source/Basalt) lava flow engulfed the southern end of Anderson Bay. Remnants of this lava flow are present as columnar-jointed lava flows.[2]
