## Fauna

Birders frequent this locale to spot the [least seedsnipe](/source/Least_seedsnipe) (*[Thinocorus rumicivorus](/source/Thinocorus_rumicivorus)*), and other [avafauna](/source/Avafauna).[1] Lago Ana is situated a few kilometres north of the [Pali Aike Crater](/source/Pali_Aike_Crater), a location from which [archaeological](/source/Archaeological) recovery has evinced evidence of early [prehistoric](/source/Prehistoric) man in this region.[2]
