The **Amman International Stadium** ([Arabic](/source/Arabic_language): ستاد عمان الدولي) is a [stadium](/source/Stadium) in Al-Hussein City, [Amman](/source/Amman), [Jordan](/source/Jordan). It was built in 1964 and opened in 1968. It is owned by the [Government of Jordan](/source/Government_of_Jordan) and operated by the Higher Council of Youth. It is also the home stadium of the [Jordan national football team](/source/Jordan_national_football_team) and [Al-Faisaly SC](/source/Al-Faisaly_SC_(Amman)). It has a current capacity of 17,619 spectators.

## Usage

In addition to Jordan's home games, the stadium hosts other games in Jordanian football including the [Jordanian Pro League](/source/Jordanian_Pro_League), [Jordan FA Cup](/source/Jordan_FA_Cup), [Jordan FA Shield](/source/Jordan_FA_Shield) and [Jordan Super Cup](/source/Jordan_Super_Cup) games.[1][2]
