**Amin Nasir** (c. 1968 – 16 January 2017) was a Singaporean [football](/source/Association_football) player and manager. He played as a [defender](/source/Defender_(association_football)) for sides including [Sembawang Rangers](/source/Sembawang_Rangers_FC) and [Woodlands Wellington](/source/Woodlands_Wellington_FC).[1] He managed the [S.League](/source/S.League) side [Hougang United](/source/Hougang_United_FC) from 2013 to 2014. He also represented the [Singapore national football team](/source/Singapore_national_football_team) and was awarded a [bronze medal](/source/Football_at_the_1993_Southeast_Asian_Games) at the [1993 Southeast Asian Games](/source/1993_Southeast_Asian_Games). His brother, [Nazri](/source/Nazri_Nasir), captained the Singapore national team from 1997 to 2003.[2]

Amin was first diagnosed with [colon cancer](/source/Colon_cancer) in 2012.[2] He died at [Khoo Teck Puat Hospital](/source/Khoo_Teck_Puat_Hospital) on 16 January 2017 at the age of 48, more than four years after his original diagnosis. He had a wife and two children.[3][1]
