***American Interior*** is the fourth solo album by [Gruff Rhys](/source/Gruff_Rhys), released on 5 May 2014.[1] It is a [concept album](/source/Concept_album) based on the life of the explorer [John Evans](/source/John_Evans_(explorer)).[2] It peaked at number 24 in the UK.[3]
