At the 2025 South East Asian Games, Lim made history by becoming a 7-time gold medallist in the Women's 50m Freestyle. She has won this event at six editions of the Games consecutively from 2009-2019, she came in 2nd in 2021 and 2023, before subsequently reclaiming her throne in 2025 at her 10th outing.
