She attended the [National Cathedral School](/source/National_Cathedral_School). She then studied [English](/source/English_studies) at [Columbia University](/source/Columbia_University) and graduated [magna cum laude](/source/magna_cum_laude) in 2013.<ref name="TIMES" />
