Elisabeth Hospital](/source/Skt._Elisabeth_Hospital) and [Sundby Hospital](/source/Sundby_Hospital). Administratively, Amager Hospital is maintained by [Region Hovedstaden](/source/Region_Hovedstaden) and was merged with [Hvidovre Hospital](/source/Hvidovre_Hospital) in 2012.

The hospital is a [teaching hospital](/source/Teaching_hospital) for [medical students](/source/Medical_students) from the [University of Copenhagen](/source/University_of_Copenhagen) as well as [nursing students](/source/Nursing_students) from the region.
