**Alvin Leonard Simes** is a lawyer who served in the [Arkansas Senate](/source/Arkansas_Senate) from 2001 to 2002.[1][2] During his time in the senate, he co-sponsored the bill that created the [Mosaic Templars Cultural Center](/source/Mosaic_Templars_Cultural_Center).[1]

He received a [BS](/source/Bachelors_of_Science) from [Arkansas State University](/source/Arkansas_State_University) and a [JD](/source/Juris_Doctor) from the [University of Arkansas](/source/University_of_Arkansas).[1] He works in [Forrest City](/source/Forrest_City). Judge L. T. Simes was his brother.[3][4]
