Endt served in the [Mississippi House of Representatives](/source/Mississippi_House_of_Representatives), representing the 113th legislative district of [Mississippi](/source/Mississippi) from 1984 to 1999. He also served two terms as an [alderman](/source/alderman) of Ocean Springs from 1965 to 1973 and was appointed [Jackson County](/source/Jackson_County%2C_Mississippi) Supervisor in 1982.
