== History ==
Historically, the proposal to become a vegueria has been based on Region 6 of the [division made during the Spanish Republic](/source/Vegueries_of_Catalonia), which comprised Osona, Ripollès and [Baixa Cerdanya](/source/Cerdanya_(comarca)), following the Trans-Pyrenean Railway, with [Vic](/source/Vic%2C_Spain) as its seat.<ref>{{Cite web|date=3 September 2022|title=ORGANITZACIÓ TERRITORIAL.
