# Alpha Nyan

**Alpha Nyan** (born 19 June 1978) is a retired [Norwegian](/source/Norway) [football midfielder](/source/Football_midfielder).

He grew up in the club [Strømsgodset IF](/source/Str%C3%B8msgodset_Toppfotball) and was fielded as a substitute in the [1996 cup](/source/1996_Norwegian_Football_Cup) quarter-final.[1] In 1997 he made his [Eliteserien](/source/Eliteserien) debut. He was seen as surplus, but after a period in neighbouring minnows [SK Drafn](/source/SK_Drafn) he rejoined Strømsgodset in 2000, playing most games in the [2000 1. divisjon](/source/2000_1._divisjon). However he only got 2 games in [2001 Tippeligaen](/source/2001_Tippeligaen) and joined [Grindvoll IL](/source/Grindvoll_IL) in 2002. After a miserable start in the [2002 2. divisjon](/source/2002_2._divisjon) he went on to [Larvik Fotball](/source/Larvik_Fotball) in mid-season. He then played two seasons for [IF Birkebeineren](/source/IF_Birkebeineren).[2]

In 2005, he joined Strømsgodset for a third stint.[3] He only got 4 games in the [2005 1. divisjon](/source/2005_1._divisjon), and joined another second-tier club [Manglerud Star](/source/Manglerud_Star_Toppfotball).[2]

In 2007 he went to fifth-tier [Drammens BK](/source/Drammens_BK) where he also was employed as youth coach.[4] In 2009 he became player-coach, this time on the senior level, in fourth-tier [Svelvik IF](/source/Svelvik_IF).[5] After that he continued for various Drammen-based clubs.[2]
