# Alloxysta

***Alloxysta*** is a genus of wasps belonging to the family [Figitidae](/source/Figitidae).[1] The genus was described by German entomologist [Arnold Förster](/source/Arnold_F%C3%B6rster) in 1869.

## Taxonomy

Förster described the genus in 1863, naming *[A. macrophadna](/source/Alloxysta_macrophadna)* as the type species..[2]

## Distribution

The genus has a cosmopolitan distribution.[1]
