**Allexton Wood** is a 25.9-hectare (64-acre) biological [Site of Special Scientific Interest](/source/Site_of_Special_Scientific_Interest) north-east of [Hallaton](/source/Hallaton) in [Leicestershire](/source/Leicestershire).[1][2]

This coppice semi-natural wood is on soils derived from glacial and [Jurassic](/source/Jurassic) clays. The dominant tree is [ash](/source/Fraxinus_excelsior), and [elm](/source/Ulmus_procera) and [pedunculate oak](/source/Pedunculate_oak) are also common. There are several small streams with populations of [opposite-leaved golden saxifrage](/source/Chrysosplenium_oppositifolium).[3]

The site is private property with no public access.
