**Allenhurst** is a city in [Liberty County](/source/Liberty_County,_Georgia), [Georgia](/source/Georgia_(U.S._state)), United States. It is a part of the [Hinesville metropolitan area](/source/Hinesville_metropolitan_area). As of the [2020 census](/source/2020_United_States_census), the city had a population of 816.

## History

Allenhurst was [platted](/source/Plat) in 1910 by B. H. Allen, the proprietor of a local [sawmill](/source/Sawmill).[3] A post office has been in operation since 1909.[4]
