A right-arm opening bowler, Jordan's best figures in first-class cricket were 7 for 82 against [Otago](/source/Otago_cricket_team) in 1972–73.<ref>{{cite web | url = https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Scorecards/33/33019.html| title = Otago v Central Districts 1972–73| publisher = CricketArchive| accessdate = 30 August 2017}}</ref> He was a member of the New Zealand team that briefly toured Australia in 1972–73.
