They formed in 1987 and were one of the first European [grunge](/source/grunge) bands but also associated with the [doom metal](/source/doom_metal) genre. After two independent albums and a lot of touring, especially in the United States, they got signed to [Gun Records](/source/Gun_Records)/[BMG](/source/Bertelsmann_Music_Group) and released their third album, ''Doom Picnic'', produced by grunge pioneer [Jack Endino](/source/Jack_Endino).<ref>{{Cite web|url=http://www.endino.com/discography.html|title=Jack Endino Production Discography|website=Endino.com|accessdate=11 September 2020}}</ref> After their fourth album, ''Nekropolis'', the group disbanded in 1994.
