**Masoud Ali Hanteh** (born November 10, 1966) is a retired [Iranian](/source/Iran) [football](/source/Football_(soccer)) player. He is currently free agent. His latest job was to be the manager of [Esteghlal Ahvaz](/source/Esteghlal_Ahvaz_F.C.) in [Iran Pro League](/source/Iran_Pro_League).

## Playing career

He played for [Aboomoslem](/source/F.C._Aboomoslem) back in 1980s, then joined [Payam Mashhad](/source/Payam_Mashhad) for 1997–98 season[1] before returning to [F.C. Aboomoslem](/source/F.C._Aboomoslem) for 1998–99 season.[2] He also represented Khorasan Provincial Team in the 1980s at senior and youth levels.

## Managerial career

After retirement Hanteh coached [Fajr Khorasan](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Fajr_Khorasan&action=edit&redlink=1). He then coached a Khorasan League 2nd Division team [Tarbiyat Khorasan](https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Tarbiyat_Khorasan&action=edit&redlink=1) and made the team promoted to 1st Division. He has been assistant coach at [F.C. Aboomoslem](/source/F.C._Aboomoslem) for several years under [Akbar Misaghian](/source/Akbar_Misaghian), [Firouz Karimi](/source/Firouz_Karimi) and [Farhad Kazemi](/source/Farhad_Kazemi).
