# Algot Haglund

**Georg Algot Haglund** (19 September 1905 – 17 October 1963) was a Swedish international footballer, international bandy player and ice hockey player.

Algot Haglund was the brother of [Djurgården](/source/Djurg%C3%A5rdens_IF_Hockey) ice hockey goaltender [Curt Haglund](/source/Curt_Haglund).[1][2]

## Career

As a footballer, Algot Haglund represented [Djurgården](/source/Djurg%C3%A5rdens_IF_Fotboll), [AIK](/source/AIK_Fotboll) and [Johannespojkarna](/source/IF_Johannespojkarna).[3][4] For Djurgården, he played 20 [Allsvenskan](/source/Allsvenskan) games and scored 2 goals.[1] He made 7 appearances and scored 4 goals for [Sweden men's national football team](/source/Sweden_men's_national_football_team).[3] Haglund made his international debut in a friendly against [Estonia](/source/Estonia_national_football_team) where he also scored one goal.[5]

As an ice hockey player Haglund represented [Djurgården](/source/Djurg%C3%A5rdens_IF_Hockey).[1]

As a bandy player, Haglund represented [Djurgården](/source/Djurg%C3%A5rdens_IF_Bandy) and [AIK](/source/AIK_Bandy) and was awarded [Stora Grabbars och Tjejers Märke](/source/List_of_bandy_players_awarded_Stora_Grabbars_och_Tjejers_M%C3%A4rke).[6] He made six appearances for the [national bandy team](/source/Sweden_national_bandy_team).[7]
