# Alfred Jean Halou

**Alfred Jean Halou** (b. Blois 1875, d. Paris 1939) was a French sculptor.

He followed the class of [Alexandre Falguière](/source/Alexandre_Falgui%C3%A8re) at the [École des Beaux Arts](/source/%C3%89cole_des_Beaux_Arts) and was also a pupil of [Auguste Rodin](/source/Auguste_Rodin). He was then part of the band named "la bande à Schnegg", including Lucien Schnegg, [Antoine Bourdelle](/source/Antoine_Bourdelle), [Charles Despiau](/source/Charles_Despiau), [Robert Wlérick](/source/Robert_Wl%C3%A9rick), [Léon-Ernest Drivier](/source/L%C3%A9on-Ernest_Drivier), [François Pompon](/source/Fran%C3%A7ois_Pompon), [Louis Dejean](/source/Louis_Dejean_(sculptor)), [Charles Malfray](/source/Charles_Malfray), [Auguste de Niederhausern](/source/Auguste_de_Niederhausern), [Henry Arnold](/source/Henry_Arnold_(sculptor)), [Jane Poupelet](/source/Jane_Poupelet) and [Yvonne Serruys](/source/Yvonne_Serruys).[1]
