# Aleya Sen

**Aleya Sen** is an Indian director, producer and writer of [Bollywood](/source/Bollywood) films. She made her directorial and writing debut with the film *[Dil Juunglee](/source/Dil_Juunglee)* (2018).[1][2] She also produced the film *[Badhaai Ho](/source/Badhaai_Ho)* in 2018.[3][4]

## Career

Sen started her career as an assistant director under [Pradeep Sarkar](/source/Pradeep_Sarkar) in Delhi. In 2004, Sen along Amit Sharma and Hemant Bhandari, established Chrome Pictures Pvt Ltd. a production house in [Mumbai](/source/Mumbai).[5][6]

In 2018, Aleya co-produced the comedy drama *[Badhaai Ho](/source/Badhaai_Ho)*, and made her debut as a director and script writer with *[Dil Juunglee](/source/Dil_Juunglee)*. Her next film, *[Trial Period](/source/Trial_Period)*, was released in 2023.

She also served as a creative producer for [Netflix's](/source/Netflix) *[Lust Stories 2](/source/Lust_Stories_2)*.
