In 2013 he was awarded the {{ill|prix Landerneau|fr}} as well as the [Prix Goncourt du premier roman](/source/Prix_Goncourt_du_premier_roman) for ''Un homme effacé'', published by [éditions Gallimard](/source/%C3%A9ditions_Gallimard).
