# Alexandra Valetta-Ardisson

**Alexandra Valetta-Ardisson** (born 7 June 1976) is a French politician of [La République En Marche!](/source/La_R%C3%A9publique_En_Marche!) (LREM) who served as a [member](/source/Member_of_Parliament_(France)) of the [French National Assembly](/source/National_Assembly_(France)) from [2017](/source/2017_French_legislative_election) to [2022](/source/2022_French_legislative_election), representing the [department](/source/Departments_of_France) of [Alpes-Maritimes](/source/Alpes-Maritimes's_4th_constituency).[1]

## Political career

In parliament, Valetta-Ardisson served as member of the [Committee on National Defense and the Armed Forces](/source/National_Defence_and_Armed_Forces_Committee). In addition to her committee assignments, she is part of the parliamentary friendship groups with [Italy](/source/Italy), [Monaco](/source/Monaco) and the [United Arab Emirates](/source/United_Arab_Emirates).[2]

In July 2019, Valetta-Ardisson voted in favour of the French ratification of the [European Union](/source/European_Union)’s [Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement](/source/Comprehensive_Economic_and_Trade_Agreement) (CETA) with [Canada](/source/Canada).[3]

She [lost her seat](/source/List_of_MPs_who_lost_their_seat_in_the_2022_French_legislative_election) in the second round of the [2022 French legislative election](/source/2022_French_legislative_election) to [Alexandra Masson](/source/Alexandra_Masson) from the [National Rally](/source/National_Rally).[4]
