# Alexandra Labelle

**Alexandra Labelle** (born February 27, 1996) is a Canadian professional [ice hockey](/source/Ice_hockey) [forward](/source/Forward_(ice_hockey)) for the [Montreal Victoire](/source/Montreal_Victoire) of the [Professional Women's Hockey League](/source/Professional_Women's_Hockey_League) (PWHL). She previously played for [PWHL New York](/source/PWHL_New_York) of the PWHL, and the [Montreal Force](/source/Montreal_Force) of the [Premier Hockey Federation](/source/Premier_Hockey_Federation) (PHF).

## Playing career

Labelle attended the [Université de Montréal](/source/Universit%C3%A9_de_Montr%C3%A9al) where she played ice hockey for the [Montreal Carabins](/source/Montreal_Carabins_women's_ice_hockey) from 2015 to 2020. She scored 90 points in 97 games, ranking fifth in team history in points.[1] During the gold medal game at the [2016 CIS Women's Ice Hockey Championship](/source/2016_CIS_Women's_Ice_Hockey_Championship), she recorded a [hat-trick](/source/Hat-trick#Hockey), helping lead the Carabins to the championship.[2][3]

On July 25, 2022, Labelle signed with the [Montreal Force](/source/Montreal_Force) of the PHF.[4] During the [2022–23 season](/source/2022%E2%80%9323_PHF_season), she recorded six goals and seven assists in 24 games. On May 10, 2023, she re-signed with the Force.[5] The PHF ceased operations on June 29, 2023.[6]

On September 18, 2023, Labelle was drafted in the fifteenth round, 88th overall by [PWHL New York](/source/PWHL_New_York) in the [2023 PWHL Draft](/source/2023_PWHL_Draft). On November 9, 2023, she signed a one-year contract with New York.[7][8] During the [2023–24 season](/source/2023%E2%80%9324_PWHL_season), she recorded one goal and two assists in 24 games for New York. In October 2024, she was invited to the [Montreal Victoire](/source/Montreal_Victoire)'s training camp.[9] On November 26, 2024, she signed with the Victoire.[10] During the [2024–25 season](/source/2024%E2%80%9325_PWHL_season), she recorded one goal and three assists in 19 games. On July 21, 2025, she signed a one-year contract extension with the Victoire.[11]

## International play

Labelle represented [Canada](/source/Canada_women's_national_under-18_ice_hockey_team) at the [2014 IIHF World Women's U18 Championship](/source/2014_IIHF_World_Women's_U18_Championship) where she recorded one goal and three assists in five games and won a gold medal.[12]

She represented Canada at the [2017 Winter Universiade](/source/2017_Winter_Universiade) in [ice hockey](/source/Ice_hockey_at_the_2017_Winter_Universiade), where she led the tournament in scoring with nine goals and four assists in five games and won a silver medal.[13]
