**Alejandro Ibarrondo Gorostidi** (born 16 May 2001) is a Spanish professional [footballer](/source/Association_football) who plays as either a [right-back](/source/Right-back) or a [right winger](/source/Midfielder#Winger) for [CD Eldense](/source/CD_Eldense).

## Career

Born in [Bilbao](/source/Bilbao), [Biscay](/source/Biscay), [Basque Country](/source/Basque_Country_(autonomous_community)), Ibarrondo joined [Athletic Bilbao](/source/Athletic_Bilbao)'s youth academy at [Lezama](/source/Lezama_Facilities) in 2011, aged ten. He was promoted to [farm team](/source/Farm_team) [CD Basconia](/source/CD_Basconia) ahead of the [2019–20 season](/source/2019%E2%80%9320_Tercera_Divisi%C3%B3n),[1] before moving on loan to [Segunda División RFEF](/source/Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n_RFEF) side [CD Laredo](/source/CD_Laredo) on 2 July 2021.[2]

On 22 June 2022, Ibarrondo signed with [Primera Federación](/source/Primera_Federaci%C3%B3n) side [CD Calahorra](/source/CD_Calahorra).[3] He was regularly used as the club [suffered relegation](/source/2022%E2%80%9323_Primera_Federaci%C3%B3n), being also deployed as a [right-back](/source/Right-back) in the last matches.[4]

On 31 July 2023, Ibarrondo was announced at [Granada CF](/source/Granada_CF), being initially assigned to [the reserves](/source/Recreativo_Granada) also in the third division.[5] On 22 August of the following year, after [another relegation](/source/2023%E2%80%9324_Primera_Federaci%C3%B3n), he moved to [Segunda Federación](/source/Segunda_Federaci%C3%B3n) side [Arenas Club de Getxo](/source/Arenas_Club_de_Getxo).[6]

On 13 July 2025, after helping Arenas to [achieve promotion](/source/2024%E2%80%9325_Segunda_Federaci%C3%B3n), Ibarrondo and teammate [Aitor Uzkudun](/source/Aitor_Uzkudun) signed a two-year contract with [Segunda División](/source/Segunda_Divisi%C3%B3n) side [FC Andorra](/source/FC_Andorra).[7] On 13 August, however, he was transferred to [CD Eldense](/source/CD_Eldense) in division three, signing a two-year contract with the club.[8]
